Chicago's global coffee powerhouse, Intelligentsia, spends time with their wholesale accounts to ensure that care, passion and professionalism carries their quality into shops that carry Intelligentsia coffee. One of these shops is the Hub Bikes and Beans in Springfield, MO. This is a quick edit of Joe West's visit to the Intelligentsia Roasting Works, keep in mind that this is 4 minutes of training clips taken from about 3 hours of guidance.
This trip was all over the Chicago area and took me to some neighborhoods down south where I think I shouldn't have been. All in all, it was a really cool trip and took me to some neighborhoods that I had never explored while living in Chicago. Here are the screen captures of the Gowalla app and photos of the house that I determined to be the Frank Lloyd Wright design. A big thanks for a fun morning to the kind folks at Gowalla.
NOTE: Some of these spots had never been visited by anyone so I'm assuming that the Gowalla team dropped them from the safety of their studio in Austin... Um, guys, you sent me to some areas where I actually did do the sly-reach-up-and-lock-my-doors. Might want to, at least, check the scene with Google street view before sending us tromping into Judgement Night
