If you had told me 18 moths ago that on September 12, 2009 I would be joining hundreds of thousand of protestors on the lawn of The Capitol in Washington, D.C., my response would have been one of disbelief. I’m not the protesting type. I don’t like to rock the boat. At least I wasn’t, and I didn’t. I am no longer the person I was 18 months ago.
So there I found myself, on the lawn of our nation’s capitol, along with countless fellow patriots standing together out of genuine concern for the freedoms we once took for granted. Not long ago, we realized we could no longer be the silent majority who held to their word and their honor and left others alone to do the same.
This is another merging stream of the binary me. It may at times collide or overlap with the real me.
