last.fm pipes into the XBox now. This nearly completes my net-centric entertainment pack of: XBoxLive games w/ friends, Netflix/Hulu movies, shows and documentaries.
(Now no cable or satellite television is needed as long as I can wait for popular series to hit DVD and Netflix.)
On last.fm's interface, I really like the artist related slideshow that goes along with the current song. Adeline loves music and the images that slowly rotate are much less likely to overstimulate as the music plays and she looks and looks away passively. It's engaging but not demanding. (she's 7 months old at the time of this post). Here is a video of her with last.fm on in the room.
