    5 Business Tips from Bob Parsons who founded GoDaddy

    1. Start Small. Don't go all in until you know you have a proven idea. Have a fallback plan and keep backup income sources in place while you incubate your business.

    2. The best partner is no partner. Having two heads at the top takes too much time and energy trying to unify two different sets of goals and opinions.

    3. Solve your own problems. Teach yourself to solve your own problem so that your solutions will be suited for your business and industry. Don't rely on mentors to do this for you. "A wise man keeps his own council".

    4. Don't fight fate. Keep your eyes open for new opportunities that show up because you've immersed yourself in your business. Be ready to adapt, evolve and take advantage of these unexpected opportunities.

    5. Do you feel lucky? Let luck carry you when it offers. Don't bury yourself or restrict yourself with over-planning.
